Bristol Light Festival is thrilled to receive a silver award for the 2024 festival at the Bristol, Bath and Somerset Tourism Awards. The annual awards ceremony took place on Thursday 6 December with a glittering evening celebrating excellence in the tourism sector across the region.

Bristol Light Festival took home silver for Tourism Event/Festival of the Year 2024. This award recognises memorable and immersive tourism events and festivals held across the region, and champions those making vital contributions to the visitor economy.

The fourth edition of the festival ran from Friday 2 – Sunday 11 February 2024. From the dazzling world premier of Studio McGuire’s Ascendance to the landmark collaboration with BBC Studios’ National History Unit for WildLight, nine captivating installations lit up the city over 10 dazzling evenings. The 2024 festival was our most popular yet, with 275,000 visitors and £8.7m additional spend across the city. 

Bristol Light Festival is delighted to receive this recognition at the Bristol, Bath and Somerset Tourism Awards, celebrating the outstanding efforts of our dedicated team, partners, and collaborators. Each year, we strive to make Bristol Light Festival a stand-out calendar highlight and we are honoured to receive this recognition.
