Showcasing the city at its brightest, Bristol Light Festival brings light, fun and colour to the city centre across a free, city-wide celebration.
Established in 2020, the festival showcases Bristol as the vibrant, playful and creative city that we know and love, offering artists a platform to showcase their work at locations across the city. Each edition celebrates artistic freedom and experimentation, featuring world-premier works alongside some of the best local, national, and international talent. We invite visitors to explore the city’s popular and lesser-known paths, uncovering a new light of Bristol with every visit. Bristol Light Festival is a firm fixture on the Bristol event calendar, where 2025 saw over 200,000 visitors across 10 dazzling evenings.
