Would you like to join the festival dream team in showcasing Bristol through colour and light? We have a number of event volunteer roles available with rotations that allow you to experience each of the locations throughout the event period along with the audience. Suitable for work experience for over 18s interested in the events industry.
All volunteers will be invited to join an online briefing session before the event to give a full overview of the festival, the installations, safety briefing and general requirements of your role, but key responsibilities will include:
- Giving general information on the event
- Handing out maps and explain the nature and expectation of the festival experience and signposting visitors
- Support customers with accessibility requirements
- Give support and assistance to customers as is required
- Supporting the event stewards with queue management to ensure queues are flowing and access into areas is smooth
- Monitor activities at the festival and alert the Supervisor or Event Management Team of any potential safety issues during the running of the event
- Be an ambassador for the event and help the team to create a joyful experience for everyone attending the event
