The ruins of Temple Church are illuminated in this brand-new work for Bristol Light Festival, set to the title track from Hannah Peel and Bristol-based Paraorchestra’s No. 1 Classical Chart Album. With a lighting team led by Alex Keighley from SLX, The Unfolding will invite audiences to look up in a space which is usually closed to the public. The soundscape by Hannah Peel and Paraorchestra will create a meditative experience, while onlookers watch beams of light gently move to the music, to reveal a canopy above them, bringing the building to life through light.

Alex Keighley—Alex specialises in producing stunning theatrical, experiential, and found-space technical projects. He has brought the amazing complexities of aerial performance with Fuerza Bruta to the Roundhouse, delved into the immersive labyrinth of performance spaces at the Old Vic Tunnels, and even transformed Covent Garden and the South Bank with pop-up swimming tanks and bouncy castles.
Paraorchestra— Bristol-based Paraorchestra bring extraordinary live music experiences to audiences around the world, blending artforms and technology with meticulous musicianship whilst radically shifting outdated perceptions of both orchestral music and disability.
